So In So Out: Winter fashion edition

By Amari Kunz

So in: "Let it snow! Let it snow!" just because it's getting cold and starting to snow, doesn't mean your outfit has to be a total bore. Instead, try some slouch boots. Slouch boots make a great accent to any outfit. Even though that phrase is over used, they really do look great. I'm so tired of seeing the suede short boot paired with dresses. Make slouch boots a must have for November this year.

So out: As for accessories this year, nail polish should definitely be a top priority. You could get away with no nail polish in the summer months, but now, try and sport nail polish. One color you should stay away is black nail polish. Its winter try bright nail polish or even a darker color of your favorite bright color. For Example, a darker black cherry would add a splash of red with still a darker tone.

So in: Just because it's November doesn't mean you have to wear dreary clothes that may reflect your mood. Try the romantic look. Not sure of what this is? This means lots of lace, and sweet colors. Play up light pinks, whites, and lilac. Then add a black to make the whole thing pop.

So out: Overly Teased Hair! Not only is this trashy looking, it looks like there could be a stuffed rodent underneath the ratty-ness of the hair. Don't be an Amy Winehouse and tease up your hair to the extreme. Instead: take the top part of your hair towards the back, and take a teasing comb and lightly start teasing, when it starts getting ratty stop. Then smooth it out with the comb. This looks natural, but still gives it volume.

So in: When it's cold outside and you're exposing your legs when you're wearing a dress, what better to cover up those cold stems are tights. Tights don't have to be boring either; they can have really neat prints, different colors, anything you can imagine! Not only do they keep you toasty, they are very fashionable.
