BK swim team splashes to success

The Bishop Kelly Swim Team is back and rolling in their new season this fall. It kicked off with a meet against Boise and Capital High Schools.

It started off on a negative note with a loss to the competitive Boise swimmers, but came back positively with a win against the Capital swimmers.

When asked on what his hopes for the Bishop Kelly swim team were, team captain, James Marria said, "I hope to see the team grow closer, work hard in practice, and most importantly have fun." Practices are currently at Boise State University from 6:15-7:30 and the coaches are Deb Marria and Susie Schooler.

They provide the swim team with challenging work-outs but most importantly a fun experience. Austin Desilvia said he is most excited about, "Doing well in state and hanging out with people during practice." The swim team hopes to excel in their meets this season and eventually win state. We hope them all the best and go Knights!
